Pickering & Chatto is pleased to announce the launch of a new series in collaboration with the Society for the Social History of Medicine (SSHM). The series is the successor to Routledge’s Studies in the Social History of Medicine series, this project will combine edited collections of essays and authored monographs.
The Society for the Social History of Medicine has pioneered interdisciplinary approaches to the histories of welfare, public health, demography, anthropology, sociology, social administration and health economics. Its membership is drawn from those interested in a variety of disciplines, including history of health, welfare, medical science and practice.
