Mark joined Pickering & Chatto in 1998 and has worked in publishing since 1988. He is in overall charge of commissioning at Pickering & Chatto. He has special responsibility for Pickering & Chatto’s Literature list as well as for History of Science and History of Medicine. Mark would like to hear from anyone with projects from the sixteenth through to the twentieth centuries, particularly projects relating to the vast wealth of women’s writing from this period.

Daire joined Pickering and Chatto in 2008. He has special responsibility for Pickering & Chatto’s growing History, Philosophy and Religion lists. He would like to hear from anyone working on projects from the early modern period to the twentieth century. Studies in empire, social, economic, political, religious, philosophical, intellectual, gender and cultural history are all welcome.
